DIY Valentine's Day Garland

The only holiday I really find my self truly getting into is decorating for is Christmas, however, I stepped it up on Halloween this year. That being said, I wanted to add a little bit more for Valentine' Day. I kept some of my red accents out from Christmas {a few pillows and a couple throw blankets} to transition into February and Valentine's Day.

While at Michael's Craft Store, searching for some picture frames for another project, I stumbled upon some fun felt hearts and thought they'd be perfect for a little Valentine's Day garland. One of the things I love most about Michael's are their good prices, sales, discounts, coupons and rewards {which is why I went to search for frames there}. It just so happened that all of the Valentine' Day decor and craft items were 40% off! So, of course I grabbed those cute little hearts {image below} and threw them in my cart. 40% off of $4.99 is pretty hard to pass up.

Here's all it took {project list}:

Quick and easy craft to do alone or with your kids!

Step 1. Cut your twine to length

Step 2. Lay your twine out

Step 3. Arrange your felt hearts in desired pattern

Step 4. Add a dollop of hot glue to the back of the felt heart

Step 5. Secure to twine

Step 6. Hang in your desired space!
