If you're new this week to Saturday Spark, hello & welcome! I'm so happy you decided to stop by for a bit. Six weeks ago I shared a little bit about the idea behind Saturday Spark and a little bit about me. My intent is for this to become a community of like-minded women sharing their ideas centered around home decor, DIY projects, household tips, and tricks, and entertaining. I took last week away from my blog for a little me time, but I'm back at it this week.
If you're here for round six I'm humbled you came back and for your continued support!
I missed last week, between work and prepping for Easter on top of dealing with a three-day migraine I just couldn't get it together. The good news is finally got over my migraine and was pretty much ready for Easter. The kids got their Easter baskets and everyone was fed 😂
Growing up the holidays were all about family and food, lots of food. We haven't had or hosted a family gathering in over a year and I was elated to be able to have some of our family over for Easter day. So elated in fact between my mom and I, we turned what was supposed to be a small brunch into a feast...needless to say, there were plenty of leftovers.
All I have to say is thank goodness for Instacart grocery delivery. It saved me last week, I was able to get online order most of what I needed from Costco and Ralphs. There was no way I would have been able to go shopping because of my migraine. If you haven't tried grocery delivery, give it a try especially when you are in a time crunch. Use my link for a $10 credit. There are a ton of stores that participate in Instacart like; Walmart, Target, Albertsons, Vons, and Costco.
I thought I'd share what we prepared and had out for all to enjoy. There was something for everyone and then some!

Zucchini Pie
Spinach Quiche
Breakfast Casserole
Spinach Dip

French Toast Casserole
Breakfast Potatoes
Fruit Platter
Charcuterie Board
Banana Muffins

Spinach Dip
Salad
Cheesecake
Cookies
Croissants
You can check out my Pinterest page with all the recipes that I followed loosely.
I had some fun making floral arrangements for the day too. Whenever possible I like to add fresh flowers around the house and to my tables. For Easter, I added some fresh Carrots in some of the floral arrangements. What do you think? Leave your comments below ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Skott invited some colleagues over this weekend. What was originally going to be one couple has turned into four couples. I decided I'm going to do something I've been wanting to attempt for a while now, a full Charcuterie table! Stay tuned, I'll be sure to share with you! Wish me luck 🍀

I'm so excited to share some great inspo from our Saturday Spark party two weeks ago!

I'm a huge fan of upcycling (you can find one of my favorite upcycled projects here) and love these 10 ideas on how to upcycle jam jars that Claire from Claire Justine shared on the last Saturday Spark Party.

I had to feature Tanya with twelveoeight blog again this week. She has another great DIY/Upcyle project that I had to share. Macrame and fringe are all the rage right now and Tanya turned her old basket into a fresh new planter that is totally on-trend right now. Check out how she did it!

If you've been following me for a little while you know DIY and adding character to our builder-grade home is a passion of mine. Leelo shared great tips on how to add visual impact with interior design. These five tips are great!

Time to share again. Let's party, party people. What do you want to share with us home makin', DIY lovin' friends?
If you like what you've read and think other might too, please share!
